THE ORANG UTAN WEARS A BACKYARD ROLEX

I was really shocked today when watching the 8 o’clock TV3 news.

As usual that man that used to be the Minister of Information (remember the Parliament has already been dissolved …… maybe a caretaker Minister of Information or Disinformation depending on which side of the fence you are) was at his usual self, hammering PAS like a man possessed. But this was not unusual, it did not shock me. A cow would eat grass, you won’t be shocked seeing a cow munching grass by the roadside.

What really shocked me was that he was talking (or shouting) at an event called “MAJLIS PENERANGAN PILIHANRAYA KEMENTERIAN PENERANGAN”, an official government’s function, not a BN function. This means that the air-con, lighting, carpets, seats and maybe food & drinks were being paid by the RAKYAT.

Can you do that? Using the RAKYAT’s money to HENTAM the RAKYAT, PAS members are part of the RAKYAT too.

Last Friday the MB, here I go again ….. caretaker MB, of Selangor was on Radio Selangor explicitly asking the voters in Sekichan where DAP won the state seat or ADUN in 2004 ( he was talking at the PELANCARAN KELUARGA BESTARI SEKICHAN ) to vote for the BN on the 8th of March.

Again my question is, “Can you do that?”. RTM is being funded by taxpayers’ money which include the party members of the oppositions. So can you use “DUIT RAKYAT” to HENTAM the RAKYAT?

So this is one Minister, oops Ex-Minister, and a caretaker MB that have no respect for the law. I wonder what law they understand. Maybe the law of the jungle? So why all this fuss about the ORANG UTAN?

My main concern is that the ORANG UTAN would protest for equating them with that you know who. I’ve seen a lot of documentaries and films about ORANG UTANS, they may look vicious but I am sure they respect each other.

Maybe I’ve had a bout of amnesia, I should have realised Malaysia is not a democracy. It is just a pseudo-democracy. To compare Malaysia with any real democracy, Indonesia and Thailand are much more advanced in terms democratic rights, is like comparing a genuine Rolex with an imitation Petaling Street’s Rolex. Our democracy is just a backyard Rolex ….
