In 2006, the MPAJ issued a directive to the residents of Ampang Jaya informing them that from 1st June that year they must use either the MGB120 or the MGB240 rubbish bin failing which their rubbish would not be collected. The cost of these bins was between RM150 to RM240.
To PAS, this instruction was unfair and burdening. It would be a burden for the residents especially the low income earners to buy this so-called "Tong Sampah MPAJ". Just imagine a security guard with a take home pay of RM800 needing to spend almost 20% of his or her salary to buy the bin!
A campaign was then launched by Saudara Iskandar A. Samad through the Ampang Jaya Concerned Citizens Group to challenge this new regulation. Signatures were collected and the press was approached.
As a result of these efforts, the MPAJ had a changed of heart. This new regulation was shelved altogether! Thank you Saudara Iskandar. Thank you PAS.

Lihatlah KEBOBROKAN, KETAMAKAN, KEHINAAN, KESIALAN, KELAPARAN pihak pemerintah yang bersengkongkol dengan parti PEMERINTAH "BN" Barisan Nuraka @ BASTARD NASIONAL... Proposal memaksa rakyat agar membeli Tong Sampah daripada mereka... Lihat & Renung sejenak... Masih nak mengundi mereka lagi kah....
Tanya lagi... MASIH NAK UNDI MEREKA TU LAGI KAH.... Lagi mau tanya ka... MAU UNDI MEREKA TU LAGI... UNDI LAH... Lain kali itu ORANG BN lagi buat proposal, sikit hari kita mati nanti kita kena beli itu "KERANDA" dari MPAJ pulak, sebab lain tempat nanti tak boleh pakai, pasal SPECT tak mengikut PIAWAI "MPAJ"... Percayalah ini pasti terjadi sekiranya ia memerintah lagi... memang LAHANAT se LAHANAT pemimpin BN ni.. Memang jahanam si PEMERINTAH yang zalim ni...
Kali ini bulatkan tekad bahawa kita perlu UNDI PARTI BA PAS-KEADILAN untuk membela nasib kita... Ayoh kita semua...
